I started tattooing in 2000, after studying fine art at Moorpark College in Ventura county. Literally not picking up a machine for ten years I studied every aspect I could. While doing that I gravitated towards the So Cal punk/ low brow underground scene. My apprenticeship went something like this-
“Hi Charlie” “Hi Sean. You're hired” “manage this brand new shop in Chatsworth while you’re at it”
My 1st year was spent solo. I’m constantly evolving and striving to develop a style consistent with my early inspirations. Artists like Amy Ruth Anderson, Guy Aitchison, Robert Williams, and of course Paul Booth.
I strive to combine realism, surrealism, and complex geometric elements. I love to create tattoos that tell a story, express a personality, or capture a moment in time. I work with a variety of clients, from Soccer moms to punk rockers. Mostly everyday people, and I always do my best to deliver high-quality work that exceeds your expectations.
